The National Emergency Management Agency (NEMA) said Tuesday that drivers who do not yield or block the path of emergency vehicles will be punished.
The move came as a revised traffic law came into effect on Dec. 9, and now motorists who do not either give way or block the road will face a fine of up to 200,000 won ($180).
