A metal sphere that crashed into a remote area of Namibia and believed to be a UFO has been identified as a hydrazine tank.
Locals heard a loud explosion when the object crashed into earth and the impact left a 13ft wide crater.
The mysterious object, which crashed in the country in November, caused a national security alert and led to NASA being called in to identify the item.
However, it has now been identified as a hydrazine tank from a rocket, which would have been used in a satellite launch.
'For anyone wondering what it actually is, it's likely a 39-litre hydrazine bladder tank," Gawker reported on its website.
