Kim Jong-il vowed to turn Seoul into a 'sea of flames.' Not surprisingly, expressions of condolences on his death have been a subject of debate in South Korea.
Kim Jong-un is all but certain to step into the shoes of his father Kim Jong-Il, who passed away on Saturday. Taking charge of a nuclear powered and relatively unstable country, Kim Jong-Il, who is in his 20s, appears to have the support of the North Korean people and the military.
